Look out, you rock and rollers.† I'm Loretta (that's Miss Loretta to you), a.k.a. The Big Punisher.†My mission: to start your afternoon off right, keep from killing Hoebee, and enjoy the beauty of the Florida¬†Keys.† I was born in Brooklyn, NY, raised in Jersey, and†checked out†every state but Hawaii.† My favorite movie is "Kingpin", I like travelling, laughing, working out, music(duh),†hanging with my friends, movies, and driving my cab!(I'm a full time cab driver for Friendly Cab, part time radio personality)†.† I love my little dog "Scrunchy", and he loves treats!
It's been a bumpy road, a rollercoaster ride for sure, but experimenting with Bill Hoebee has enriched my life in countless ways, I can't think of any right now, but I'm sure it has. Imagine being locked in a padded room with your annoying brother with ADD for 4 hours a day, and you'll start to get the picture. We've laughed, we've cried, he's farted, I've complained, but sharing our off the wall perspective with each other, our revolving cast of characters, and our listeners is just plain
I see dead people!!! No seriously, I really do see dead people!! I am a psychic medium, empath and reiki healer.
Since I was a child I have possessed the gift of being able to see and communicate dead people. My first experience with ghosts was when my Great Aunt passed away. I remember having a conversation with her at her own wake! This was my first real experience with death, from then on I wasn’t afraid of ghosts…I’ve been seeing them all my life!
I moved to Key West in November 2011 with my husband Anthony. We live here producing independent feature films, documentaries, television shows, music videos, photography, music, psychic readings, reiki healings and much more, with our company Savior Productions.
I love living in Key West, it has allowed me to help so many people on a regular basis connect with their deceased loved ones. I am able to meet locals, and tourists here in Key West from all over the world on a daily basis. I am here to connect deceased loved ones with their living friends and relatives, andto help and heal as many people as possible!
Since having discovered her island of misfit toys, Irene has been a 15 year resident of Key West. She traded supervising Teamsters in Cold New England to owning and running the two most outrageous bars in the Southernmost City.
A former model, her second day in the Conch Republic had Irene entering Fantasy Fest’s Homemade Bikini contest. A fortunate happenstance which would lead to a memorable nickname, her first radio gig and hosting the Official Fantasy Fest Video in 2000 and 2001. A lifelong nudist, both opportunities were tailored to her talents and created memorable moments on film and the airwaves.
Irene shares a diverse background which includes her literally riding shotgun for a repo company, competitively Polka Dancing and being the Director of a Children’s Charity. Her obsession with sparkly objects, battles with the dreaded earworm, and her Massachusetts bred sarcasm are legendary.
Her free time is filled with Zumba, Ebay and reality TV. Her ADD in HD often means she’s doing all 3 at the same time
Sorry I haven’t written in a while, I’ve been super busy avoiding writing. Anyhow, come on out and join the experiment live Friday afternoon at 5 as we will be broadcasting from Bistro 31 in beautiful downtown Big Pine Key at MM 31. They are having a customer appreciation day. All kings of great drink and food discounts along with the band Reach playing. This place is great so come one by and check it out. I’ll be bringing some Sun 99.5/103.1 T shirts.
Also, the artist Wyland is still out in Hollyweird painting a new mural on the Hollywood Improv of all the famous comedians that have performed there. I’ll get some pictures up for you. He painted me on it also, because of my participation in Comedians for Conservancy. How cool/weird is that?
I’d also like to wish my friends Raggs and Jason Wolf from Mote Marine Labs a happy birthday. We will be celebrating by having our first ever morning bar stroll to commemorate the occasion starting Saturday morning at 10 from the Schooner Wharf Bar then going wherever we’re led after. Join us (if you’re not a psychotic drunk) if you want.
Our sport’s guy Crazy Dick Lopez is competing in “Aqua Idol” on Tuesday at . Aqua Idol is a singing competition for charity. I’ve encouraged Rick to sing Murry Head’s 80’s classic “One night in
