Hi. I'm Bill Hoebee and if nothing else, our show is ORIGINAL. If you have nothing better to, do listen in the morning...it's kind of like a train wreck for your ears and mind. My hobbies include identifying shiny objects, short walks on the beach, drinking, and keeping my 14 year relationship with my imaginary girlfriend alive. My favorite movies are "Spinal Tap" and any movie that begins with the words, "Ernest Goes to..." I mostly eat grape ice-pops and pie. I love my family, friends, watching t.v., and most of all...being a giant smart-ass for pay.
Look out, you rock and rollers. I'm Loretta (that's Miss Loretta to you), a.k.a. The Big Punisher. My mission: to start your afternoon off right, keep from killing Hoebee, and enjoy the beauty of the Florida Keys. I was born in Brooklyn, NY, raised in Jersey, and checked out every state but Hawaii. My favorite movie is "Kingpin", I like travelling, laughing, working out, music(duh), hanging with my friends, movies, and driving my cab!(I'm a full time cab driver for Friendly Cab, part time radio personality) . I love my little dog "Scrunchy", and he loves treats!
Join us today, as the legendary guitarist/songwriter Steve Cropper joins us on the experiment. Steve wrote and performed on such classics as "Midnight Hour", "Knock on Wood", "Green Onions", "Sitting on the Dock of the Bay" and on and on. Steve's performing at the Key West Songwriters Festival and we'll see what he's been up to lately. Oh, almost forgot, Steve was the guitar player in the classic movie "The Blues Brothers".
Friday, Texas guitar genious Robert Earl Keen joins with a couple surprise guests. Sunday I'll be live at the Schooner Wharf for their 19th annual Cinco de Mayo Party and Taco Eating Contest, one of the funniest events I emcee all year.
FYI: Gary Clark Jr. absolutely blew the huge crowd away at the Songwriters Festival kick off concert, it was a free event. The next time you see Gary in concert while he's with the Stones I imagine you'll have to take out a second mortgage on the house to afford tickets and will be viewing him with 50,000 of your closest friends. Just sayin'.

Come on out to the Ocean Key Resort Sunset Pier today for the Key West Songwriters Festival kickoff party. Gary Clark Jr. is playing, (if you've never heard of him - google) just back from Eric Clapton Crossroad concerts and about to go on tour with the Stones. (Yeah those Stones!) The concert starts at 6 and it's free, but get there early because this cat is the future of rock and roll/blues.
I'll be broadcasting live from 4-6 with interviews with a lot of celebrities there. I am also the M.C. there, and later on at the Pier House on the beach concert with Robert Earl Keen and more. On Thursday the legendary Steve Cropper from the Blues Brothers and others stop by the studio. Busy Week.
FYI: This Saturday we're at the Schooner Wharf Bar for the 19th annual Cinco De Mayo taco eating contest, sign up early. Contest is at 7pm and it's funny as hell.
Peace,
Hoebee
